Quick Start

Follow these steps after completing installation.

Open your browser and navigate to:

http://YOUR_SERVER_IP:39921

Replace YOUR_SERVER_IP with your server’s actual IP address or hostname.

If the page does not load, verify that port 39921 is open in your firewall and cloud security group.

On first visit, Web.Casa automatically redirects you to the setup page. Here you will:

  1. Set your admin username
  2. Set a strong password
  3. Click Create Account

This creates the first administrator account with full privileges.

There is no default password. The first user to complete setup becomes the admin. Do this immediately after installation to prevent unauthorized access.

After logging in, the dashboard displays real-time server metrics:

  • CPU / Memory / Disk usage gauges
  • Network throughput (inbound and outbound)
  • Active site count and status
  • Docker container overview (if Docker is installed)

The left sidebar provides access to all modules — Sites, Docker, Database, Files, Terminal, Monitoring, and more.

Step 4: Create Your First Reverse Proxy Host

Section titled “Step 4: Create Your First Reverse Proxy Host”
  1. Click Sites in the left sidebar
  2. Click the Add Site button
  3. Select Reverse Proxy as the site type
  4. Fill in the configuration:
FieldExample ValueDescription
Domainapp.example.comYour domain name
Upstream Address127.0.0.1:3000Where your application listens
  1. Click Save

Make sure your domain’s DNS A record points to this server’s IP address before saving. Caddy will automatically obtain an SSL certificate from Let’s Encrypt — your site will be live with HTTPS within seconds.

Web.Casa uses Caddy’s built-in ACME client. HTTPS works automatically when:

  • Your domain’s DNS resolves to the server’s public IP
  • Ports 80 and 443 are open

For wildcard certificates, go to Settings > DNS Providers and configure your DNS provider credentials (Cloudflare, AliDNS, Tencent Cloud DNS, or Route53).

We strongly recommend completing these security steps:

  1. Enable TOTP 2FA — Go to Settings > Profile and set up two-factor authentication
  2. Review firewall rules — Use the Firewall plugin to restrict access to trusted IPs
  3. Set up audit logging — Audit logs are enabled by default; review them under Settings > Audit Log
  • Docker — Manage containers and deploy Compose stacks
  • Database — Create MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Redis instances
  • Backup — Configure automated backup schedules
  • Terminal — Access your server shell directly from the browser
  • AI Assistant — Chat with LLMs for diagnostics and Compose generation
  • MCP Server — Connect your AI IDE (Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code) to manage the server
